I'm COOL at last!

At last - I am officially COOL! - (well, according to my kids at least). I've been awarded a Rockin' Blogger Award by the very lovely and talented Viki at Pernickety Hat. Viki's writing is brilliant, you should go and have a look at her blog - you won't be sorry. Thanks Viki.

Just to make you all feel like throwing things at me - I am for once organised with my Christmas cards because I wrote them all out this morning! It must be the first time I've been that organised I think, but this year I was determined to stay In Control of Christmas. I'm off to look at my Christmas cookbooks now....

I think there's something a bit sick and twisted about that (Christmas cards in October)... :)

I so agree with Kate - how very dare you put the rest of us to shame..:)
As for Xmas cooking - if it doesn't come ready made then we don't get to eat it!
Great link by the way.

I think you are cool too! I haven't even bought my Christmas cards yet but did look at some the other day. I have to admit to buying my Christmas pudding already - it matures on the 25th December apparently - just as well isn't it!

You're setting a very good example, I might even do the same thing during half-term week and get my cards written out. It would make a change for me to post my cards before everyne else, usually I still have a pile sitting on the side on Christmas Eve...oops.BTW anyone who writes a blog is cool in my opinion! Well done rock chick.

I got my cards out the other day to remind myself what I had ( I bought them in the sales in January!!!!) but I didn't write on any. Wasn't quite up to that!

My brother says that he won't write any out before December 20th just in case someone dies before then and then he's wasted a card.

Can you believe that??????

Oh so that's where my Christmas organisqation skills have gone, you have them!!! Usually I have the kids gifts bought and wrapped by now and at least an idea about the cards I will make by this time of the year, this year NOTHING! At least someone is organised, you go girl!!!

And I thought xmas decorations in the shops in September was obscene!
Well done, I leave my xmas cards so late I end up deciding it's best not to plague the planet with yet more waste paper.
Maybe we should start our xmas cards now but make them textiles and decorations which can be hung on the xmas tree each year????
